Messages in the extension
The Messages tab picks up your Vinted conversations with sorting, filters and shortcuts that Vinted does not offer.
You get the same inbox, in a more comfortable form, on the dashboard — see Dashboard messaging.
Sorting what matters
Filters by type: All · Unread · Sales · Purchases · Questions · Offers · Problems · Vinted · Other.
Filters by date: all, today, 7 days, 30 days, 3 months.
Sorting: newest, oldest, price descending or ascending.
Each conversation carries a badge that tells you what it is about at a glance: Sale to prepare, Sale shipped, Pickup point, To confirm, Question, Offer received, Offer sent, Dispute…
Starting the day with the Unread filter sorted by descending price is a good habit: you deal first with what brings in the most.
Replying
Open a conversation to see the whole thread. The ← and → arrows move from one conversation to the next without going back through the list.
The reply box accepts 2,000 characters. Your draft is kept conversation by conversation: you can start a reply, go and look elsewhere, and find it again.
Available buttons: Open on Vinted · View item · Make an offer · Mark as read · Delete.
Quick replies
A shortcut bar above the input field inserts a prepared text.
Four replies exist by default (availability, thanks, shipping, questions). The Manage button lets you add your own: a short label (30 characters max) and a text (2,000 max).
These replies are shared across all the Vinted accounts of a single Chrome profile. See What is isolated and what is not.
Offers
In a conversation, Make an offer proposes a price to the seller. The offer is valid for 24 hours and the minimum price Vinted accepts is shown.
On an offer you have received, three buttons: Accept, Decline, Counter-offer.
If you have defined a negotiation strategy on the dashboard, counter-offers go out on their own — see Automatic negotiation. The buttons stay available so you can take back control at any time.
Bulk actions
Mark as read — switches the selected conversations to read, on Vinted.
Delete — careful: the deletion happens on Vinted and it is irreversible. The confirmation says so.
What arrives in real time
New messages are detected immediately, without waiting for the periodic sync. They go up to the dashboard right away, which lets the Auto-Messages agent and the dashboard inbox react within seconds.
If the extension is offline at the moment a message leaves the dashboard, the order is queued and carried out when it comes back.
Replying automatically
That is the job of the Auto-Messages agent, which you configure from the Auto-Messages settings button in this tab — see Automatic messages and The AI assistant.
