The extension day to day
Purchases
The Purchases tab brings together all your Vinted orders, with the information Vinted scatters: where the parcel is, what the collection code is, how much you have spent.
The list
Filters: All · Awaiting shipment · In transit · Pickup point · To confirm · Delivered · Completed · Cancelled · Disputes, plus a filter by country.
Sorting: date, price, seller, title, and transaction completed.
Statistics at the top: total, awaiting shipment, in transit, pickup points, delivered, and the amount spent over the period.
A bundle purchase shows View the items in the bundle.
Collection codes
For a parcel at a pickup point, the collection code appears directly on the purchase card, with a button to copy it.
The Export codes button opens a view grouped by pickup point: all the parcels to collect at the same place, with a button to copy that point's codes in one go. It is built for the round: one pickup point, one list, one copy-paste.
Fetching codes automatically from Gmail
Vinted does not always give the code: it is the carrier that sends it by email. Vintedge can go and get it.
Settings → Integrations → Authorize Gmail.
The access requested is read-only and limited: only emails containing one of your tracking numbers are read. Vintedge sends nothing, changes nothing, deletes nothing. You can revoke the access at any time, from the settings or from your Google account.
Then the Scan Gmail button in the Purchases tab starts the search across every order that has a tracking number but no code yet.
The report distinguishes the cases:
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| Codes found | Retrieved and shown on the purchases |
| No Gmail email | The carrier has not written yet, or not to that address |
| Email found, code not recognized | A button opens the email in Gmail so you can read the code by hand |
| Gmail not authorized | To be authorized in Settings → Integrations |
| Gmail limit reached | Too many requests; try again in a few minutes |
Results are cached: a code that has been found is not searched for again for several days, and a missing email is retested after an hour.
One thing to watch: the Gmail authorization expires after about an hour and renews itself silently as long as you are logged in to Google in the browser. If you log out of Google, you will have to authorize again.
Importing your history
The Import history button retrieves all your past orders, including old ones. It is also triggered automatically the first time a Vinted account is seen.
The import can take several minutes on an old account. It picks up on its own if Chrome is closed in the meantime.
Confirming receipt
An item's Confirm receipt button opens a window with a star rating and a comment.
This rating is published on Vinted. It is not a private note.
To move fast, the bulk action Confirm 5★ confirms several purchases at once with the values set in Settings — Purchases:
- Default rating: 5 out of 5.
- Default comment: empty, which produces "Parfait !" in French.
Write a comment that sounds like you: thirty strictly identical ratings do nobody any favors.
After confirmation, the associated conversation is automatically marked as read.
Your purchases on the dashboard
What you see here is also sent to the dashboard, where it becomes the purchase cost of your stock — that is what makes your margins real. See Purchases on the dashboard.
