Settings and sync
The Settings tab
Three sections.
Account
- Your Vintedge email address and your plan.
- Vinted session active or inactive. Inactive means the extension has not seen a Vinted page for more than 24 hours: reload one.
- Usage this month: reposts and messages consumed against your quotas.
- Vinted accounts: the list of your linked accounts and your plan's counter.
- Buttons: Sync & backups, Manage subscription, Sign out.
Integrations
The Gmail authorization, read-only, for fetching collection codes. It shows the authorized account, and lets you revoke the access. See Purchases.
General
- Theme: System, Dark (default) or Light.
- Language: Auto, Français or English.
- Date format:

The Sync & backups window
It opens from the sync icon in the top bar, from the Chrome status window, or from Settings → Account.
Sync status
A banner gives the overall state: Syncing…, Up to date or Error, with the detail of the error where relevant.
Below it, the date of the last sync and a Sync now button, then the detail by data type — Sales, Purchases, Wardrobe, Conversations — with the number of records and the date of each.
Cloud backups
Number of photos, number of items, space used, and above all the monthly quota with its reset date. The bar turns orange at 75%, red at 90%.
The list of backed-up items lets you delete a backup one at a time or empty everything.
How syncing works
Two mechanisms live side by side.
Continuously — new Vinted messages are detected immediately and pushed to the dashboard within the second. That is what makes the dashboard inbox and the automatic replies responsive.
Every 15 minutes — sales, purchases, wardrobe, conversation metadata and promotions. Vintedge does not send everything each time: it first compares a fingerprint of your data with the server, and only transmits what has changed. A normal cycle therefore transfers almost nothing.
The Sync now button forces a pass without waiting.
When it stops syncing
"Vinted session expired" — the extension did not find your Vinted ID over three consecutive cycles. Log back in to Vinted and reload a page.
An error on a single data type — the window shows it per type. The others carry on normally.
Nothing for a long time, with no error — check that Chrome is open, that a Vinted tab is loaded, and that your subscription is active. Periodic syncing only starts if both conditions are met.
What is never sent
Vintedge transmits neither your Vinted password, nor your payment methods, nor your cookies. What is transmitted: your listings, sales, purchases, messages and agent statuses — that is, what the dashboard has to display. See Security and privacy.
