Troubleshooting
Frequently asked questions
Am I at risk of being banned from Vinted?
Vintedge acts from your browser, with your session, at a deliberately limited pace, with random delays and time ranges. It creates no fake accounts and gets around no protection.
The risk does not come from the tool but from the usage: reposting hundreds of items in an hour, publishing identical listings on several accounts, or sending thirty messages in three minutes draws attention, with or without Vintedge. Vinted sets its own ceilings anyway — around twenty messages an hour, for example — and forcing them achieves nothing.
The default settings are cautious. Build up volume gradually.
Does Vintedge have my Vinted password?
No, and it cannot have it: there is no Vinted login form anywhere in the product. The extension uses the session already open in your browser.
Do I have to leave the computer on?
For the agents to run, yes: Chrome has to be open with a Vinted tab. That is the trade-off for never handing your Vinted credentials to a server.
The dashboard, on the other hand, can be consulted from anywhere, including your phone.
Which browsers are supported?
On desktop: Chrome and Brave, under Windows, macOS and Linux. Other Chromium browsers (Edge, Opera, Vivaldi) may work, with no guarantee.
On a phone, you need a browser that accepts Chrome extensions: Orion on iPhone and iPad, Kiwi or Yandex on Android. Safari and mobile Chrome install no extensions at all — that is not specific to Vintedge. See Install on your phone.
The dashboard opens in any browser, on any device, with nothing to install.
Is there a Vintedge app?
Yes: the dashboard installs as an app, on a phone as on a computer, with its icon and push notifications. Careful, it does not replace the extension — it does not run your agents. See Install the Vintedge app.
Do the agents run when my phone is locked?
No. The phone suspends background tabs to save battery, and the agents with them. They resume when you come back to the tab.
For continuous automation, leave a computer on. The phone is very good for steering and acting occasionally.
How many Vinted accounts can I connect?
1 on Starter, 3 on Growth, unlimited on Elite. To run them at the same time, you need one browser profile per account — logging out and back in to Vinted to move between them is strongly discouraged. See How multi-account works.
Can I try before paying?
Yes: 7 days of free trial on the Growth plan, with a card requested but nothing charged before the end.
What happens if I stop my subscription?
The agents and the syncing stop. Your data stays in the database and becomes accessible again if you come back. To erase everything, you have to delete the account — see Account security.
Remember to export your sales, purchases and stock as CSV before you leave.
Can I track my sales outside Vinted?
Yes. Add a sale and Add a purchase accept any source: another platform, a hand-to-hand sale, a car boot sale. Your analytics and your accounting then cover your whole business.
Why are my earnings lower than on Vinted?
Because Vinted shows the total paid by the buyer, buyer protection included, and that part does not come back to you. Vintedge shows what you receive.
Why is reposting so slow?
Because going fast is the best way to get noticed. A repost takes one to two minutes, and items are spaced 60 to 120 seconds apart. That is deliberate.
Does the AI invent things about my items?
No. It can only state what appears in your list of facts and in the item's real characteristics. See The AI assistant.
Who sees my data?
You do. The data is partitioned by user account at the database level. The leaderboard only shows what you decide to show, and you can leave it at any time. See Security and privacy.
Is Vintedge affiliated with Vinted?
No. Vintedge is an independent tool, with no link to Vinted.
Is the guide available in my language?
Yes, in French, English, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese. The site's language selector switches the whole guide, and a link shared in one language opens on the right page in yours.
One useful caveat: the extension panel exists only in French and English. If you read the guide in Italian, Spanish, German or Portuguese, the button labels quoted in the text are the ones you will actually see on screen — so in English — with their translation in brackets. The dashboard, for its part, is translated into all six languages.
