The dashboard

Dashboard messaging

The Messages page brings together your Vinted conversations from all your accounts, in one place. It is the comfortable version of the extension's Messages tab.

It requires the Growth or Elite plan.

Three columns

On the left — the inbox. An All accounts row with the total unread count, then one account per row, with its counter and an "online" dot showing whether the extension is connected there.

In the middle — the conversation list. Search, and filters with counters: All · Unread · Negotiation · Post-purchase · Dispute · To handle.

On the right — the thread. The messages, the system cards, and the offers with their Accept, Decline, Counter-offer buttons.

On mobile, the columns fold one after another.

The "To handle" flag

That is the star at the top of the thread. It is there to set aside what you will have to come back to: a question that needs a considered answer, a dispute to follow.

The matching filter takes you straight back to your pile.

Replying

The input field at the bottom, as everywhere. Sending goes through the extension: your message is queued and carried out on Vinted right after.

If the extension is offline, you will see:

Extension offline — your message will be sent as soon as it is back.

The message is not lost: it goes out when the extension returns.

Loading the history

The dashboard only knows the messages that have arrived since you started using Vintedge. To go further back, it asks the extension to fetch them from Vinted — you will see "Loading history…".

If you get:

Cannot reach the extension to load older messages. Check that it is active and that a Vinted tab is open.

… that is exactly it: open Chrome, open a Vinted page, try again.

Deleting a conversation

The deletion happens on Vinted and it is irreversible. The confirmation says so.

Multi-account

Each conversation carries the account it came from. The left column lets you handle one at a time — useful when you reply in different tones depending on the shop.

And the usual safeguard applies: a message written on the dashboard for atelier-nord will never go out from a window logged in to maison-lila.

Where should you reply, here or in the extension?

Both do the same thing. In practice:

  • The dashboard to work through a volume of messages sitting in front of a screen, with the filters and the search.
  • The extension when you are already on Vinted, or for the saved quick replies.
