Purchases

The Purchases page lists your Vinted orders and the purchases you enter by hand. It is the source of your costs — and therefore of your margins.

The indicators

Three cards with the same period selector as sales: Purchases (count), Spent (amount), Average cost.

Filtering

Status (Completed, Pending, Action required, Cancelled), source (Vinted or manual), brand, size, country, carrier, delivery status, price range.

Sort by date, price, or total paid.

A purchase's record

The full detail of what you actually paid:

  • Item price, service fees, shipping costs (marked "estimated" when Vinted does not give the exact amount), and the total paid.
  • Delivery, carrier, status, parcel size, tracking number, completion date.
  • For a bundle: the detail item by item.
  • The stock items created from that purchase.

Buttons: copy the transaction ID, view on Vinted, generate an invoice.

For purchases, it is the total paid that counts — fees included. That is what the operation cost you, and therefore the basis of your margin.

Adding a manual purchase

Essential if you source anywhere other than Vinted: car boot sales, thrift shops, charity shops, clearance lots, classifieds.

Fields: title, total cost, currency, quantity, date, supplier, payment method, photos (two at most), notes.

Two calculations appear live:

  • the average unit price (total cost ÷ quantity);
  • the number of items that will be created in the stock.

That is the mechanism that makes bundles usable: you buy 30 pieces for €90, Vintedge creates 30 items at €3 each. Every resale then has a correct margin, without you having to calculate anything.

The quantity can no longer be changed once the items have been created.

From purchases to stock

Your Vinted purchases become stock items. Depending on the case that happens automatically; otherwise the Stock page offers an Import purchases button with the list of what has not been brought in yet.

The Link health panel on the Stock page also flags "purchases not imported" that are more than 30 days old — see Stock.

Bulk actions

Multiple selection, with the same nuance as for sales: Vinted purchases are hidden and will not come back; manual purchases are deleted permanently.

Exporting

CSV, Excel, JSON or clipboard, with the active filters applied.
